Match Rules

These Rules apply to ALL Matches held at Orchard Lakes. By ENTERING a match at Orchard Lakes you agree to abide by the rules set out below. If you are fond to have broken any of these rules you will forfiet your place in the match. You will not be permitted to continue and your match fee will not be returned to you!

1.   No parking on the GRASS verges (Match Lake)  You will be asked to move!

2.   All Anglers must be in possession of a current E.A Rod Licence.

     (You maybe asked to show us your E.A Licence.)

3.   Barbless hooks only. (NO mirco barb, whicker, pinched or any other type of barbed hooks.)

4.   No braided line to be used. Main line or hook lenght.

5.   No Cat Meat, Nuts, Beans or Boilies.

6.   NO pole cups to be passed over the water before the start of the match.

7.   No floating baites to be used on matches.

8.   Ground bait can only be used with method feeders and pole cups (cupped in) No balling.

9.   All method feeders, bombs and method wagglers must be free running.

10.  Three nets must be used on all matches. All fish of approx 1Lb and under in one net.

       Larger fish are to be split between the remaining two nets.

11.  All net must be laid out to dry and are not to go into the water until 15minsutes before the start

       of the match
